    This reminds me of why I think paying teachers for test grades and the like won't work. It is sometimes many, many years later that something that a teacher delivers in the classroom resonates with a student. When we decide that tests or other measurements are indicators of teacher success, we negate what the STUDENT brings to the table and the very timeline that life follows in its unfolding.
